I love everything about this deceivingly healthy treat! Medjool dates create a creamy, caramel flavor and sea salt adds the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Eat alone, with apple wedges or serve alongside your favorite vegan dessert!
Raw Salted Caramel Dip
- 20 Large Medjool Dates pitted
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4-1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp coconut oil optional
1.Blend all ingredients, except water in your Vitamix or food processor. Slowly add in water until desired texture is reached. Makes about 1 cup.
Note: if dates are not soft you may need to soak them in warm or boiling water before blending
