I love everything about this deceivingly healthy treat. Medjool dates create a creamy, caramel flavor and sea salt adds the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Eat it alone, with apple wedges or serve in/alongside your favorite vegan dessert.
Raw Salted Caramel Dip
Ingredients
- 20 medjool dates pitted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp coconut oil optional
- 1/2 cup water or coconut cream
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions

Blend all ingredients and in your Vitamix or food processor on high. You may need to stop to scrape down the sides with a spatula and use the blender tamper until a rich, creamy consistency is reached. Makes about 1 cup.

Note: if dates are not soft you may need to soak them in warm or boiling water before blending
